i love princes being lovey dovey and kissy and professional and ambitious, but i also want to see them being TEENAGERS. rolling around in the scoops of pandaren beds and accidentally bonking heads. playing paper football and nearly poking each other’s eye out. wrathion talking to one of his…
i’m SUPPOSED to make a fullcolor picture for mez, but i must’ve colored this over and over a billion times. i think it just might be the picture itself i’m getting sick of. >:’/ but it’s cute at the same time somehow haha! SO HOLD TIGHT FRIEND OK I’LL MAKE YOU SOMETHING WORTHY FOR YOU SOME DAY!!!!!
anthounds, and some not-quite-humans whose species lacks a name still.
this is what happens when I listen to “rite of spring” on repeat lol
so basically there’s this super hell world, aaaand it’s dominated by monsters, anthounds only being one of them, and the not-quite-human settlements are few and far between. The settlement that the bottom two are from made an agreement with a particular pack of anthounds that if they protect their village from the other more significantly horrible monsters, they’ll give them one their young adults every couple of years. they’re not offered up as food but as spouses, and can still come back to visit their families if they so choose. the reason that the anthounds agreed to this is that their young have a high mortality rate, both because of them getting picked off by other monsters, and because of only having the means to take care of a few out of the litter. It’s very dangerous for anthounds to nurse, because the insect plating on either side of their abdomen has to come off in order to do so (they grow back once nursing has stopped and their young have grown enough, it just takes a while), and it’s dangerous for them to leave their young to go hunting to bring back food. in their species only the strongest survive, unfortunately.
however, anthounds and these not-quite-humans can procreate and the end result is still full-blooded anthounds, and while the not-quite-humans are smaller and weaker, they naturally have the means to nurse immediately without losing vital protection (males have this capability too), and their hands are much more dextrous and can craft weapons and traps to better guard the den. it’s not as if they’re not intelligent enough to do these things- anthounds have a human sentience- it’s just that the not-quite-humans can hold things without accidentally destroying it immediately
so these guys up here are two sets of siblings, and are very unusual in that only one out of the litter survives usually, but the sister (blue one) is cleverer than most and the brother (red) is more timid, so she could get him to do what needed to be done, and they survived together. the not-quite-humans are also unusual in that twins are a very rare circumstance for their species.
so basically the village went “it’s fate you have to do it” and yeah it’s getting really fucking anime up in here
I’m trying really really hard not to name the twins artemis and apollo and the anthound siblings skoll and hati, you have no idea
Q:Your trolls are fantastic! I was wondering, if Wako kept Nozgal as a slave, how did they become lovers?
Hello dear Anon!Thank you very much for taking interest in my silly troll boys, haha >w< There might be many reasons why did they felt in love with each other.Wako was curious about a Darkspear troll that he’d never seen before, and Nozgal was a kind-hearted troll who might attracted Wako a lot. What is interesting is,they have never expressed their love clearly, and I don’t think as a proud Zandalari warrior,Wako would admit that they’re lovers. >w>
I’ve been friendzoned enough IRL, I don’t want to go there in a game.
